Choose the correct width and thickness according to the specific joint or sealing gap.

Unroll the tape and press it firmly into place. Ensure 100% contact with the substrate.

Joint Treatment

Maintain a continuous seal. Do not stretch the tape excessively during installation.

Curing Time

Do not tear or peel the tape within 24 hours after application for maximum bond.

Avoid Solvents

Do not use in conjunction with materials containing benzene, toluene, or silicons.

Yes, our solvent-free butyl formula is engineered to remain permanently flexible and tacky for the life of the project.

Can I use butyl tape on a wet surface?

For maximum bond, the surface must be clean and dry. We do not recommend installation on active leaks or wet surfaces.

What is the construction temperature range?

Our standard butyl tape can be installed from -15degC to 45degC. For extreme climates, specialized formulas are available.
