How do laminated shingles differ from 3-tab shingles?
Laminated shingles use bonded layers to create a deeper, varied roofline. A 3-tab strip has a flatter, regular cutout pattern. Compare the actual bundle format, roof-system requirements and approved sample for your project.
How many bundles should we order?
The nominal 16-piece format covers about 2.32 m² of exposed roof area per bundle. Divide roof area by this coverage, then add project-specific cutting, hips, valleys and waste. We can prepare a takeoff from your roof plan.
Can you provide a wind or fire classification?
Ratings depend on the offered shingle and tested roof assembly. Send the destination market and required standard so applicable current test documents can be checked before specification.
What should an RFQ include?
Share roof area and pitch, project location, color reference, required standard, destination port and expected delivery schedule. A physical sample and current technical document can then be matched to the offer.
