Product Overview

Cement-Bonded Composite Waterproofing for Every Surface

PP/PE (Polyethylene Polypropylene) composite waterproof membrane is a multi-layer high-polymer system that bonds directly to substrates using cement-based adhesive.

Five Engineering Advantages of PP/PE Composite

  1. Polymer Fiber-Reinforced Adhesion — The non-woven surface forms a full mechanical bond with polymer cement, creating a monolithic system.
  2. Cavity-Filling & Channel-Sealing — The adhesive fills substrate irregularities, preventing water from channeling beneath the membrane.
  3. Full Adhesion on Damp Substrates — The cement hydration process allows bonding even on damp concrete, accelerating construction.
  4. Direct Finish Compatibility — The fiber surface accepts tiles directly, eliminating the need for bonding primers.
  5. Root Penetration Resistance — High puncture resistance provides an effective barrier against plant roots for green roofs.

Installation Guide

Substrate Preparation

Ensure the surface is firm and clean. Minor surface irregularities are acceptable as the cement adhesive will fill them.

Adhesive Mixing

Prepare polymer cement waterproof adhesive. Mix thoroughly to a uniform consistency suitable for trowel application.

Membrane Laying

Lay the PP/PE membrane smoothly onto the wet adhesive. Maintain a minimum 100mm side overlap.

Compaction & Air Removal

Press the membrane firmly using a rubber roller, working from the center outward to expel trapped air.
