Product overview
HDPE Geomembrane for Engineered Containment
This roll liner is intended for welded containment assemblies. Start the RFQ with the application, thickness and surface finish, then specify mechanical and durability indices. The 1.5 mm smooth-sheet figures above give buyers a comparable starting schedule; they are not a substitute for the offered grade’s current technical data and project quality records.
Select Smooth and Textured Grades Separately
Smooth sheet is often used across prepared base areas. On slopes, a textured interface may be needed to meet a project-specific shear requirement. Texture selection should follow the actual soil, geotextile and cover interfaces; smooth-sheet tensile and puncture figures should not be copied into a textured-grade schedule.
Quote the Installed System
Roll width can reduce the number of field seams, but handling access, panel layout and container limits also matter. Send the site drawings and quantity together with required seam testing, protective geotextile, welding accessories and roll documentation. This produces a quotation the contractor can relate to the installed barrier, not just the sheet area.

Should I specify smooth or textured HDPE geomembrane?
Select the finish from the interface shear design. Smooth sheet is common on prepared base areas; slopes or cover interfaces may call for a textured sheet with its own friction and strength requirements.
Are the 1.5 mm figures batch test results?
They are procurement reference indices for a smooth grade. Request the proposed roll's technical schedule and required quality records before material approval.
Is a 0.5 mm pond film the same as a GRI-GM13 geomembrane?
No. The GRI-GM13 HDPE specification covers 0.75–3.0 mm smooth and textured geomembranes. Quote thinner film separately against its intended use and agreed standard.
Can this liner be used for drinking water or aquaculture?
State the water-contact requirement in the RFQ. Material suitability and any destination-specific approvals must be confirmed for the exact formulation and project before specification.
