TY-SHIELD™ TPE Joint Sealing Tape is a high-performance expansion joint accessory designed for the most demanding structural waterproofing projects. Engineered with a multi-layer hybrid structure, it features a chemically resistant Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) core and stitch-bonded fabric wings for ultimate integration with liquid-applied membranes.

Ensure the substrate around the joint or corner is clean, dry, and firm. Remove all loose debris and dust.
Apply a generous first coat of your selected liquid waterproof coating (JS, PU, or Asphalt) along the joint line.
Place the TY-SHIELD™ TPE tape into the wet coating. Ensure the fabric edges are fully submerged in the coating.
Use a trowel or roller to press the tape firmly, removing any air pockets or wrinkles from the fabric edges.
Supplied in 120mm x 50m or 10m rolls. Custom widths available for large expansion joints.
Pre-formed Internal Corners, External Corners, and Pipe Sleeves (S, M, L sizes) available.
