Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) Modified Bitumen Waterproof Membrane is a high-performance, torch-applied waterproofing sheet manufactured by Weifang Tianyuan Waterproof Material Co., Ltd. It features a premium blend of SBS modified asphalt reinforced with a robust polyester or fiberglass carrier and is surfaced with PE film, sand, or mineral granules to deliver outstanding structural waterproofing.

Installation Method

Requires torch-on application (hot-applied). Clean the concrete substrate, ensure it is completely dry, and apply a coat of bitumen primer. Unroll and align the membrane roll. Use a commercial propane gas torch to heat the underside of the roll and the substrate simultaneously. When the thin PE burn-off film melts and a thin layer of glossy molten bitumen appears, roll the membrane forward slowly, pressing down to create a full bond. Seal all overlap joints by hot-melting with a trowel.

Packaging & Loading

Rolls are tightly wrapped with plastic strapping bands, labeled, and vertically stacked on sturdy wooden pallets with protective corner guards and heavy-duty shrink wrap. Loaded securely in 20ft/40ft containers.

Storage & Shelf Life

Store rolls vertically in a dry, well-ventilated, indoor warehouse environment. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, moisture, and any sources of heat or ignition. Do not double-stack pallets to prevent deformation of the rolls. Shelf life is 12 months under optimal storage conditions.
