TFY Self-adhesive Bitumen Waterproof Membrane is a high-polymer “peel-and-stick” cold-applied waterproofing sheet. Manufactured from advanced SBS rubberized bitumen, it is surfaced with a reflective aluminum foil shield, cross-laminated PE film, or sand, and protected on the adhesive side by a siliconized release film. It offers instant bonding, high elasticity, and self-healing properties, ensuring supreme watertight performance without open flames.

Installation Method

Peel-and-stick cold application. Substrates must be structurally sound, dry, clean, and free of dust or oil. For porous or dusty concrete surfaces, apply a bitumen primer and let it dry. Align the membrane roll. Peel off the siliconized release film from the adhesive side, then press the membrane onto the substrate. Smooth firmly from the center outwards to eliminate air pockets. Run a heavy steel hand roller over all overlap joints to achieve an airtight, leak-proof seal. Installation should be performed above 5°C.

Packaging & Loading

Each roll is wrapped in a protective polybag, placed vertically or horizontally on wooden pallets with cardboard layer separators, securely strapped, and completely covered in industrial stretch-wrap. Single gross weight per roll is approximately 20-30kg depending on thickness.

Storage & Shelf Life

Must be stored vertically on flat, dry, shaded ground. Protect from direct sunlight, rain, extreme heat, and sparks. Ambient storage temperature should not exceed 45°C. Stack rolls only in a single layer to prevent core deformation. Shelf life is 12 months.
